Mike, What really makes Grocote special is the unique resin coating technology used in the manufacture of Grocote. As soon as the resin coated granule comes into contact with moisture in the growing media (above 25% w/w) the granules begin to absorb water vapor through microscopic pores in the coating. Thus, the coating ensures that the nutrients are released just as your plants require the nutrient, ensuring a consistent feed of nutrients to the root zone.
